Kangaroo (art print) Jirra
Kangaroo (art print) Jirra
Jirra is the Aboriginal name of a kangaroo so of course I would pick it for this powerful kangaroo. Random fact: kangaroos can't walk backwards. Pretty interesting and probably explains why they kick forward instead of back. Their powerful kick means the only possible eye wear choice for Jirra is a pair of safety goggles. The boomerangs in the background make a playful pattern with dots for a nod to Aboriginal art.
Looking to hang in a group? Jirra the kangaroo pairs perfectly with Harry the raccoon, Lou the baby alligator, and Simon the koala.
All prints are made by a local print shop on #100 Cougar Opaque Cover paper and look great in an 8x10 frame or matted in an 11x14 frame.
