Lisa was one of the first paintings in this “Throwin’ Shade” series. This sassy little rooster is rockin’ a singer’s classic cat-eye glasses, adorned with flowers and an energizing yellow zigzag in the background. Inspired by Lisa Lobe's catchy little tunes in the mid-90s that were a favorite of my sister…you know, before she made the switch the next year to some guys who just wanted some nookie. Oh teenage years, the angst of it all!
